School Improv Programs
Communication, confidence, and collaboration are essential life skills—and they don’t come from a textbook.
Ridiculous Joy teaches fun and interactive games that help students to actively listen, support others, think on their feet, and embrace mistakes as part of learning and growing!
Whether your students are introverts or extroverts - they are set up to shine in these sessions! We foster a safe space where kids can laugh at themselves AND each other in a fun and kind way. In improv, there are NO WRONG ANSWERS - and kids love that!
These programs encourage students grades 6-12 to:
Build empathy and respect for others
Practice active listening and clear communication
Gain self-confidence through positive risk-taking
Work together to solve problems creatively
Laugh, have fun, and feel empowered
“I loved the class and I looked forward to it every week! I loved all of the fun improv games that we played together. I liked how welcoming the class was, and how I could say anything and it wasn’t wrong”
Sixth Grade Student, Mariemont Elementary
“I think the work you are doing is fantastic! It has been so fun to see the kids have an outlet for their creativity and use their energy in a positive way. It has also been amazing seeing them come out of their shells and going out of their comfort zone. You do a nice job of encouraging them while still finding a way for constructive feedback. I see their confidence growing each week!”
